Deposit and Full Payment

A deposit of 600 USD is due to hold each guest(s) spot.

Balance is due 90 days prior to the trip. We reserve the right to release your reservation without compensation or refund if you do not pay the balance before the deadline.

Gratuities/Tips

Our captains and drivers work hard for us and do their best to deliver on expectations.

Tips are a core part of their compensation. To keep things fair and reduce your cash needs, we include the tip in the total trip cost. 

Tips for the expedition leaders is not included, but greatly appreciated and left to your discretion. 

Changes and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 6 months prior to the scheduled trip date: no penalty and fully refundable. 

Cancellations made between 6 and 3 months prior to the scheduled trip date: your deposit is non-refundable, but transferable to any date of the following season, based on availability (valid only for one year; only one transfer is permitted per guest). Guest(s) must pay the difference between the original booked price and the price of any transferred booking.

Cancellations made 3 months or less before the scheduled trip date: payments are non-refundable.

Nats off the Grid reserves the right to alter or modify arrangements for any reason and in any way necessary in the interest of our clients or due to circumstances beyond our control (weather conditions). This may mean changing the date of departure or conclusion of the tour, the scheduled point of departure for the tour, omitting or changing any scheduled stop on the tour, or changing the scheduled place of conclusion for the tour whether before or after the tour has departed, without prior notice to you. You will have no right to any refund and Nats off the Grid will have no obligation to you or be liable for any loss, consequential damages, expenses, loss of time or enjoyment, or inconvenience in respect of such changes.

Nats off the Grid reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure in which case any payment made by you will be refunded in full and you will not be entitled to make any further claim for compensation, damages, loss, expenses, loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.

Do I need a passport or visa?

All guests must have a passport valid six months from entry. Visas are required from certain countries, please check your specific requirements online.

What airport do I fly into?

San Diego International Airport, unless otherwise specified.

When should I fly in?

We recommend flying in at least 1 night before your departure date as well as booking your flights with flexibility to adjust the dates if needed, in case any changes in the schedule arise. 

How many guests will be on each boat?

We will ensure a maximum of only seven guests per boat to provide the highest quality, most personalized experience for each visitor. This ensures you will have the best opportunities for better quality interactions!
